July 7, 2026. At (upper?) Kalama Falls, WA We missed this waterfall when we hiked the trail last year. It's more up river from the "big falls". At least 20-30 mins on the trail, on a trail off shoot.

At White Sands National Park (NM) Apr 27, 2026 The "white sands" is actually gypsum, which doesn't get hot in the sun, so you can walk barefoot with no problem.
