So.... I was going to wash my hair. It was down to my hips again. I literally just cut it not that long ago? Anyway. It's now about 5 inches shorter and just that little bit gone is making a huge difference in weight and how long it takes to wash/deal with it. Huzzah! ❤️

Made a new version of stuffed pepper. I baked it this time. (Usually we have a German stuffed peppers. No. Not the ones with tomato sauce. The other ones.) This was delightful. Enchilada seasoned, so a bit 🔥. Made the recipe up on the fly lol More deets in comments. ❤️

Spearmint tea from plants that came in my veg box and I rooted them lol

Just had to put my carrot tops into a larger glass. I love that about summer. I can stock up my herb cabinet until it bursts. Then in winter, when I can't get fish's tops, I have the dried ones for my soups and salads and things. ❤️

Got a new plant pot. Repotted my plant into it right away. Isn't that just the most adorable handmade pot? Not bad for free. The plant was a bit harassed by the cats, because I accidentally put it down in " their spot" for 2 seconds. (Narrator: it was, in fact, not their spot at all.)

I pickled some beets, because I love pickled beets. And the mushrooms I got yesterday. Because PICKLED MUSROOMS ROCK. Anyway. Done! (I know the beet jar is half empty, but I don't have any other jars. Relax. They are fridge pickles. They are fine. They will also not make it past tomorrow.) ❤️

Had some apples that needed processing. So we are making more apple cider vinegar. If you want to make vinegar yourself, it'seasy, but make sure you keep it away from your sourdough and other ferments. And do not use home made vinegar for canning! (Fine for fridge pickles, not for shelf stable!!!)

Finished another embroidery today. Design by tiny modernist. A free pattern. I changed it a bit, because I wanted the end result to be round. I want to make another small round box like the one in the other picture (box made from scratch by me). Pumpkin pattern by MamaWitchCrossStitch on etsy. ❤️

Finished another cross stitch. I left the lettering off, because that fabric was a pain. I'm not recommending Junebug and Darlin kits. The fabric was awful, the hoop was worse and the pattern was printed in colours you can barely see. Glad I got it at the thrift, I would not pay more than $3. 😐

Bwaaaahahahahha I went to restock our candles and found a Bob Ross Happy Little Trees Candle! I snatched it up so fast! 😂 ❤️

Does this half finished embroidery look like a lettuce leaf? Asking for a friend. It's me. That friend is me. I'm asking for me.... It needs more shading and finishing the red part lol. No. Stop. Don't look! It's hideous. But it's getting there. Sigh. (Real conversation in my head with myself) ❤️

Another WIP is now an FO. Have to fully finish it. I don't think I want it in the hoop, as the kit suggests. It was a Dinensions kit I got at the thrift. Someone had started the sun and then donated it. But it was still complete with treads, hoop and needle. I ripped it back and started over. ❤️

How it's going. Haven't slept well the last few nights. Running errands should be interesting today. 😂 ❤️

Reading Muder takes a vacation. The premise of this book was so promising. I am 60% through and the book is mostly about clothes shopping and how this widow wants *some*. The murdered man has been brought up maybe 4 times so far. Would not recommend unless you suffer from insomnia. 💙📚 #booksky

Forgot to post the fridge pickled jalapeños. I had some jalapeños that needed using. Unfiltered apple cider vinegar, hence the liquid colour). I added some bellpepper, onions, pepperflakes, pepper, garlic and salt. Tomorrow we have fridge pickles lol ❤️

Right my peeps. Cleaned kitchen, dealt with leftover food and veggies, baked cookies, mandolin sliced my finger, watered plants, dealt with the return of the mattress I bought and have been trying to return for a week now. I am DONE for today lol. Going to embroider a bit an call it a day. ❤️✌️

This is really happening lol. My son and I are about to make 320 peanut butter cookies. So we end up with 160 nutterbutter cookies. 😂 Yep. That is 6.5 lbs of dough right there. 😂 Some will go to grandson's and some will go into our freezer. Can't wait to have some. ❤️

Guess who's done???? HUZZAH! Just have to make it into it's final form lol BUT! I get to start something new! I also found this cute spin the wheel app. I added all my wips and every WIP Wednesday I will find out which WIP I will be working on for that week! Going to be such fun! ❤️
