Picked these two up from my local library #ReadingForPleasure the God of the Woods was enthusiastically recommended to me by the librarian! @lizmoorebooks.bsky.social And the @barringtonstoke.bsky.social was on the 'new additions' shelf so I had to have it! @stevecolewriter.bsky.social

We're busy making plans for the Accessible Book & Story Festival 2025! And we are really keen to hear ideas and suggestions from families, teachers and anyone who tells or would like to tell sensory stories. Please post a comment below or send an email to ailie@mykindofbook.org.uk
This year's Accessible Book & Story Festival will be a small but perfectly formed mini-fest in September- with the focus on sensory stories. Next year we will be back to the full-sized festival with an emphasis on tactile books and sensory stories.

Just started this super readable book and I'm finding it very refreshing. A boy who isn't taken in by the flashiness of Xmas (and is also neurodivergent) and a new dog friend called Susan. Would recommend!
