Speaking of small world, my day has taken me on a train ride through Crystal Palace.

Finally met my reading goal for the year. Huzzah.

This is my 104th book for the year, how I managed to read so much? I do not know, but I do know why.

As a youth I found a box of red hardbacked books in the attic, on enquiring I was informed they were my fathers "plan for retirement", he would finally read them.
He never did.

I guess in some small way I decided to spend my year reading to prove that I can.
My goal started more modest and has grown each time I reached it, now though? I do not wish to increase the goal, only to continue reading.

I mentioned a few days ago, that websites are now asking you to subscribe to them if you do not want ads. Ads become increasingly more intrusive, I will not pay you to use your site once a month. And I shouldn't have to wade through a page of bullshit to get to the content I want.

This has been on my list to buy for some time. Accidentally picked up the wrong "film" though, so I've had to buy more, total accident, not intentional.

One month in and I'll be honest, I still think it looks amazing.

In this picture we see Silent's first tattoo, located on the inside of his right forearm, the tattoo is of a bright green gelatinous cube from Dungeons and Dragons, inside the cube sits a human skull, an arrow is lodged in the eye socket of the skull with the fletching sticking out of the cube. The edges and corners of the cube are oozing, almost melting.
Behind the top right corner of the cube is a traditional five petal flower, with green leaves.
In front left of the cube is a d20, drawn and shaded in the same style as the flower, also with leaves around it.

Did you know that if you get a Lego Millenium Falcon, you can in fact build a Firefly class transport ship? No extra bricks needed.

I know what you're thinking: "Can Silent read another book before April is over?" And the answer is "Who are you and why are you so invested in my life" But yes, if just finished Rage, first book in the Year of Rogue Dragons trilogy.

This is my next read. Yeah, I'm on a D&D roll, I dig both Dungeons AND Dragons, so sue me. Might follow up this trilogy with that Star Trek novel I picked up on the charity shop a few weeks back.

Finished the Haunted Lands trilogy. Unholy carried on a great arc, and ends on a bittersweet note. Now, do I immediately move on to Year of Rogue Dragons, or do I read something standalone first?

Well fuck, managed to squeeze one last book into the month. I'm not going to push this hard again, but I'm glad as fuck that I managed to read so much. Shame I couldn't fit in the third Haunted Lands book in time.
