Try To Humanize

We must push for change. Tulsa massacre, the genocide of native Americans, the hate against minorities, against each other, everywhere. We, as a species, must find a better path. We can. We must.

I will not concede this unrelenting hope of mine that it can happen. It starts at the individual, the home, through education, with organizations, and enacted by government. Some would argue human nature will never change. Not with that attitude it won't.

When you dehumanize any group, you become a part of the problem. Hate an idea, not the individual. Are the dark forces of hate unchangeable? Maybe with some people. But people don't live forever. They will die out. It could take a long time but it will eventually fail or, if we do nothing, we all will.

This could be the time. Honestly, it's always the time. End your hate. Exalt helping each other. End greed. Start healing each other. I was about to delete this. Who am I to speak like this? I'm a human being that doesn't want to give up and give in. I refuse to give into the dark and cut the wings of our better angels. What will we all do?
