To wrap up, play this game. If you have ANY passing interest in the series and you don't want to deal with its PvP aspect, this game goes above and beyond every expectation I had. Splatoon 4 will have to try REAL hard to upstage both this game AND Splatoon 3, aside from the latter's shit map design.

I can see where you are coming from, having some Yu-Gi-Oh background. If you don't interrupt your opponent's set-up, they can potentially set up an unbreakable gamestate for you to deal with. Splat can snowball hard, so denying the other team's set-up early can make it much easier to deal with.
