I don't remember if I posted them on here, but I got 2 of the Moonspell Magic dolls. They are in DESPERATE need of paint on their accessories but they're pretty fucking cute.
Got the new Mirror Mi Akiko Kittyama doll. All the budget went into the clothes for this new line from MGA. But this means no stand, and a chunky plastic purse???? I also don't like her mittens on, so had to take a seam ripper to get them off. Exposing mangled fingers... Still adorable overall.

I cannot sew yet I'm trying to make the jacket for my Supergirl figure. Anyway, it's bedtime so this will be my Day 1 of 2 progress. The bottom half of her jacket needs WAY more volume but I'm going to settle for this triangle shape. Tomorrow I'll sew the sleeves together and finish the collar.
Coming together by hand. I'll make it prettier later. For now I just want to see if I can accomplish getting the base together.
A detail I only noticed the 2nd time around in Supergirl is that during her funeral, the mom is wearing a red dress that looks like it is covered in red leaves. This caught my eye because there was a lot of red leaves on the trees in the scene of Kyrpton's destruction. Interesting detail.
Supergirl doing worse than Joker 2 has me feeling so conflicted. On one hand, Supergirl is just demonstrably a better time. On the other hand, Joker 2 actually did something challenging and brave. It had GUTS. And I applaud that to this day.
Miles Morales' dad being a cop continues to age horrifically for me. When the new Spider-Verse movie comes out, I'm not gonna be sad if they kill him. (Clealry they won't.) Him and Gwen's dad are both class traitors. Also he has name of Confederate president. 😭
My Monster High display has been updated for the Summer now that Pride is over. Apparently my lights went out while I was away.

So I am trying out the KinnPorsche TV series completely blind and am two eps in and I think Porsche is an idiot with a deathwish and Kinn has the most punchable face.
Supergirl (2026): Amazing actress, amazing character portrayal, amazing source material... Aaaaaaaand a very underbaked movie. Something went wrong a LOT here. And all the ugly brown CGI? OOOF. If I were the artist or colorist of Woman of Tomorrow, I'd be super pissed off. See it for the character.
I was only able to grab one of the Kpop Demon Hunters core dolls before the rest sold out on both Amazon and Walmart in the US and Canada. Rumi is tall, includes her Demon markings up to her neck, and can balance on her feet. I did paint her nails.
And yet Disney keeps hiring James Wood to voice Hades for Kingdom Hearts, including the new one not even out, IV. There is no such thing as "cancel culture" and Disney will never be "woke".
