I lurk, sometimes ‘like’, and occasionally comment. I try to follow people who seem pretty decent. Personal insults demonstrate you’ve lost the argument. UK based.
Worth a read, I feel. AI models will go rogue. Unintended consequences and all that.
The government could do so much more to counter racism, yet successive governments seem to perpetuate it. Pandering to the extremists. I’m sick of it. Useful leaflet from the Army…
I see Tesla sales increased in UK and reduced everywhere else in Europe. Related to the lack of reporting of protests in US by the BBC and MSM in UK, perhaps?
Nice pic in the sunshine! Thanks for sharing. Here’s a view on Mumbles pier (from a few years ago).
Here is a calming scene through some trees near Dunkeld, Scotland early January. Take it easy Nicki.
A misty day where I am today. Anyway, Mumbles Pier and Lighthouse viewed from Blackpill (Sept 2018).
Nice mug. I’m pretty sure I got mine from the cafe/shop at the top of The Great Orme, Llandudno.
I went there April 2023. It’s a great place to visit, although I’d recall getting there is/was a bit unsettling as you need to go through a housing estate if driving.
I have some Asian Tartan movies that are not for the faint hearted. One of them is called “Audition”. It starts pleasantly enough, but don’t watch it on your own. X
You could try this one. I’ve used the same recipe for over twenty years, and it avoids the faff of ‘ feeding’ the cake with alcohol after it’s been baked. If you leave it late or are pushed for time it can be started 4 days before Xmas, but remember to soak the fruit first.
For years, Shell was seen as a master of what is known as scenario planning. Not much would have got past them. Kees van der Heijden used to work for them. He authored two seminal books in the art of SP. That said, they truly messed up with Brent Spar though.
