Punctual arrival of the @europeansleeper.eu to Brussels this morning! 🚆 🇧🇪 8 min to catch my connection by TGV to Lille, very short but ES has decent buffer overnight and I’ve always arrived on time to catch this short connection🚄 🇫🇷

Today, we are aboard the @Talgo VI, first Talgo train operating commercially in Czech republic 🇨🇿 and Slovakia 🇸🇰 since April 30th. Riding between Prague and Bratislava
Finally made it to Copenhagen with a delay of 5 hours in total. Today was just not it. Let’s hope tomorrow will be better. 🙏 Thanks for following me today !
The curse continues, a freight train started a fire along the line between Schleswig and Flensburg - we are now back on the move with a delay of two hours
Our train is terminated in Hamburg Altona after a hefty delay of 4 hours and 10 minutes…. 😅 We’re being transferred into the ECE 1170 that has been waiting for us since over an hour now… the journey continues 👀 Btw, it’s my first time on a Talgo 230
Current plan seems to be a turnaround and go via Hannover and Bremen 🥸
Currently stuck in Lüneburg due to a catenary failure between here and Hamburg! Even though we have a lot of buffer in Hamburg, our train will be heavily delayed 😔

Guten morgen aus Deutschland 🇩🇪 That’s a trick only the night train can play by not shunting or stopping overnight. We left Brussels with 1h30 of delay and we’re now perfectly on time in Stendal 😏
Also due to some track works, there’s no stop in Liège - so technically we’re doing Brussels - Berlin without ANY commercial stop which is pretty impressive and give us a high chance to be on time in Berlin tomorrow. Finger crossed🤞
Connecting with the delayed @europeansleeper Paris - Berlin in Brussels. The train left Paris with a delay of 1h45 due to some staff issues in France. Luckily we’re departing Brussels with a shorter delay than Paris. Let’s hope they can catch back the delay during the night 🚆 🌙
