If you are a fan of samurai movies, Samurai in Time is a must see new(er) movie. Released in Japan in 2023 & English subtitles only. It starts off a little cheesy, but it's well worth the 2 hour watch.

For this #TopShelfFriday I once again say thank you to @ksfphd.bsky.social for selling me this nice copy of Critters #1 from June 1986 which I've since had signed by Stan Sakai & graded :)

I took a few minutes to dive into my secretary desk and dust off my handheld Entex Space Invaders, made in Japan circa 1980. The left directional button sticks until you get it going for a few games, other than that after 46 years it still works great :)

See this mail truck, it has no air conditioning. It's hard for me to deliver in one of these vehicles in Maryland & the worst it ever gets is maybe 105-106°. I don't understand why they don't take the older trucks w/o air & transfer them up north.

Bought my nephew a 15 book lot of early reader comics for his 6th birthday. He has vision & other health problems & is behind in his reading skills. Kiddo has had some early life challenges. He loves Marvel so I hope this gets him to start enjoying reading. 🤞

Today, I'm beside myself with grief discovering that my friend of 35+ years, the man who played the bongos with his band at my wedding, had a heart attack last night & has no brain function today. His family will say goodbye tonight. My world is a little dimmer. Goodbye Jonny Mac; I love you brother

I've been so worried. Sunny, the Tabby on the right has been missing for 2 days. Sunny and Been are feral cats that I've been taking care of since they were kittens. Sunny has a nice shelter but he hasn't been using it for two nights in a row. Super worried, but relieved now.

Finally got time to install the vintage under cabinet lights I bought for Xmas. I still have to work on hiding the wires, but I think it looks pretty good. I started building this kitchen from scratch almost 20 years ago.
