City of Dallas is closing 4 libraries (2 of which are polling locations and 1 in our LGBT neighborhood) in order to pay for an almost-$5 million contract for new video/tech surveillance tools for the police. They announced these closures without allowing public comment or debate.

I love my Moog Matriarch the best

Good session last night. After trying some other methods and free-hand synth bass, I got the Beatstep Pro out to sequence bass lines on the Moog Voyager. Sometimes you try new methods then return to what worked previously.

Finally devised a system for setting up more of my synths so that my writing/recording sessions can be more productive. You can barely see the piano here, but it occupies a lot of wall space.

I forgot to post my year-end music list here. There are many others to love but these were the ones that kept me going through this year
