Every morning after breakfast (5ish am) my cat comes and lays on my chest. If I try to scroll, he puts his paw on my face to remind me to pay attention.

My mother. Today was her birthday, she would have been 101. Today is also San Jacinto Day. Growing up in Houston, we were always out of school on San Jacinto Day.
One of these is my surviving black cat and the other is a toy black cat. Survivor grooms the toy cat.
My cats are mad because we got a new container for the deck feral’s food. This was after unfortunate incidents where they found the hiding place and ate some of the food.
