The Adore tour was in the aftermath of the Jonathan Melvin overdose & Jimmy Chamberlain was kicked out of the band. No one. Literally NO ONE said that the band was “at the height of their career.” God, I don’t even know what was going on with D’arcy at that time.

ART Lindell does not need to be registered to vote in MN to run for office here. But his lack of knowledge about his voter registration status is notable for a candidate who has called for strict scrutiny of voter rolls & made election integrity the central pillar of his campaign & political life.

In an interview with the Minnesota Star Tribune, Lindell said he didn't know if he was registered to vote in Minnesota and would have to check. But he said "obviously I'm going to vote," and that he wouldn't vote in Texas because he doesn't live there anymore.

"I'm not going to vote twice," he said.

Lindell does not need to be registered to vote in Minnesota to run for office here. We were in Duluth last summer for tall ships & the readings were between 300-450 & we barely left our hotel because it was so nasty outside. I can’t imagine what 600-900 is like.

Nice little short read.

It could even be argued that stronger borders encourage migrants to stay on longer than they might do otherwise. Through much of the 20th century, Mexicans crossed the porous border into southern US states for seasonal work. Once the harvest was in, they'd go home. Now, having endured a dangerous and expensive passage into the US, they're more likely to want to stay permanently.

If true, this is a REALLY big deal. I doubt Russini will work for a major outlet again. Depending on how other teams feel, other examples coming to light, etc. Vrabel could also be impacted. But based on previous NFL cheating punishments, he’d likely only serve a 9 game suspension. Possibly less.

The report, under a headline that proclaimed "Atlanta Falcons have offer of a 1st-round pick for Julio Jones, sources say" created a clear impression that the Falcons had an offer in hand of a first-round pick for Jones.
Her report also downplayed the Titans' chances of landing Jones, calling them a "long shot." (At the time, Vrabel served as head coach of the Titans.)

Ultimately, the Titans acquired Jones and a 2023 sixth-round pick for a 2022 second-round pick and a 2023 fourth-round pick.

So how did the reporting potentially help the Titans? Putting out the word that the Falcons had been offered a first-round pick could have had a chilling effect on any team that may have been considering offering a second-round pick. Calling the Titans a "long shot" allowed them to maneuver

There was a time when this would have been a massive story and the future of the relationship between the United States & México would be questioned. It says a lot about the takeover of American media & the fractured relationship between the US & México that neither is happening today.

Sheinbaum said that neither she nor senior members of the federal security team had been informed about any joint US-Mexican operations.

The Mexican leader has been adamant that foreign officials can only operate on Mexican soil if given prior clearance at the federal level.

Sheinbaum has come under pressure from her US counterpart, Donald Trump, to do more to stem the flow of drugs from Mexico to the United States but she has insisted that Mexico's "sovereignty" cannot be breached.

On Monday, Sheinbaum said "we did not have knowledge of any direct work between Chihuahua state and personnel from the US embassy.”

I don’t put a lot of stock in primary turnout vs turnout in November for the mid-terms but by my rudimentary math the Democrats brought out 2.25M voters compared to the Republicans 2.1M in a contested campaign that is headed to a runoff. Not to mention the Dems still have more precincts to count.

Good job, Richfield! More cities need to follow.

Richfield's Public Works department has since posted signs at 18 locations stating that using city property for staging for civil immigration activities is prohibited.

The council passed the ordinance in response to concern and fear in the community, particularly among immigrant and refugee populations, according to the city.

In a separate motion, Richfield signed on to join an amicus brief put forth by Minneapolis, St. Paul and Attorney General Keith Ellison in to end Operation Metro Surge, the federal government's immigration enforcement efforts.
