I'd have quite liked to know who the denier was in order to slag him or her off. I asked one of these search thingies about it and then told him or her what you got from the editor. Here's the response it gave. Good to know it's onside.
Fossil fool vandals. At least it's still alive here: www.nationalacademies.org/read/26919/c... Hope it stays there and sentient judges can take it on board. And maybe this extract, which has (so far) stayed in the Manual, makes the point? And the Foreword alludes to its need, also.
Learned to drive in one exactly like this, seen in Rye this week! Split screen Morris Minor, same snazzy colour, red leather seats. Even remember the plate: NLH 744. Probably made 1952. Passed the test in it November 1965. 🥳 Was written off in a not-my-fault crash (honest) the following year. ☹️ G
Sand and Water Thank you, Beth, for your wonderful album from 30 years ago. 🥰
I’m not sure how often an otter might be seen crossing this road on the edge of Applecross village but it’s a nice sign. 🦦
Not surprised especially if the driver was trying out the road-holding! That road is interesting!
That wonderful ferry between Glenelg and Kylerhea on Skye. skyeferry.co.uk/the-glenachu...
Now houses a defibrillator. Just up the road apiece from this one at Gott Bay. Probably the same sheep though 😉
