Wordsmith, educator, parent (not in order of importance). Now quasi-librarian. Opinions are frequent and vociferous and very much not representative of my employer who shall not be named. He/Him.
Not mine, but nonetheless (spotted in a local flea market type thing). Feel free to draw it at your peril.
I will say one of the advantages of leaning more Asian in my kitchen is that so often the ingredients are really, really cheap, especially by comparison with almost anything else in the grocery store these days.
Having finished Black Sails, I am turning to the Treasure Island movie made for TNT way, way back when, which I would argue is absolutely one of the best versions.
Behold a Korean cat. I know it’s Korean because my daughter, who is sightseeing there, sent me this picture. Because we are those people.
I appreciate a movie that lets you know pretty much right out of the gate what kind of movie it is going to be. (Ridiculously, cartoonishly violent.) Almost wore out it’s welcome but managed to finish strong.
It’s not all manly men hamburgers or ribs or whatnot (grunt, grunt, grr, flex), I think I did okay with my father’s day cooking.
This afternoon’s adventures in 4k: “Let me tell you of the days of high adventure!”
I am in a murder basement for a stage production of what is essentially a performance of a bootleg Hamlet.
And in case you prefer the red ones, have two red pandas in a wooded habitat.
My daughter is currently visiting a panda research center in China and sent me a couple of videos, so since the world is terrible, have a panda falling off a tiered wooden platform.
I know that the local deer are, at this point, entirely suburban animals like the raccoons and the opossums, but still.
