I take Dora on walks and feed her. I was a robot long before Joe Biden.
The power is still out. They dug up my neighbors driveway around 3 AM this morning. Under ground utilities are wonderful. Until they are not.
The power is out in my neighborhood. It will be down for about four hours. Xfinity sent out a repairman with a portable generator to get the local network back up. Hard to see, but it is chained to the utility pole.
You need a Dora. She is a stone cold killer, with one squirrel, one mole (dug up from it’s tunnel) and one snake so far.
Dora’s friend Crowly came down with a bad case of grass seed face this morning.
The thing about trees in the northwest is they never give up. Here a horizontal shoot got broken off, so a vertical shoot grows from it.
The city thoughtfully put barriers in the bike lane so bikers would not run into the curb.
A great thing about living in a farm town is walking into a store and finding chicks on sale.
Seen on today’s walk. A Toadshade, cool name for a plant that looks like a camouflaged Trillium.
Things on the walk today. A wild Iris and two blown down trees. One that broke at the base. And one that ripped up the root ball.
On a sad and angry day, it is good to hang out with someone who lives in the moment. #dogs
