For the record, a big reason why all these AI companies are making all these deals with like, every major company, studio, business, software program, etc is because they're all in a fuck ton of debt. Like, Joe Exotic levels of debt where they're not making any money at all with their AI tech.
In a bit more positive news, I got my California driver's license and I can officially drive in the sate I live in!

One other reason this movie looks like it’ll be a flop is probably because MUTO is a franchise that’s struggled to have cross generational appeal outside of the aging Gen X kids who grew up with it. The most relevant it’s been in the last 20 years has been the sapphic She-Ra cartoon and this meme:
I voted today. Not gonna lie, a lot of people running in the California primaries I’m not all that jazzed up for. But you gotta to get out and vote anyway. One of the people I used to watch on YouTube put it best. Voting is kind of like brushing your teeth where you know you have to do it.

Current mood this evening. Probably gonna log off for the rest of the night because I've already had a pretty stressful week and today's bit of animation news really twisted the knife in me. I don't smoke but today was one of those kinda days where one could use a cigarette.
There were a bunch of other announced meme movies that went no where I kind of wish got made in hindsight. I think at one point someone tried to make an animated movie based on Rage comics, if anyone still remembers those.
Have y'all seen the pilot to Planetronika? I loved it so much that I just had to make fan art of Butterfly. I really hope we eventually get to see more of this series! It made me as a younger millennial who grew up with that era of cartoons really happy! #planetronika
GORGO I recently watched this movie for the first time in years for Mother's Day. There were several parts of the movie that made me want to make fan art, so I chose the part where Gorgo's mother attacks and destroys Big Ben.
I really wish I could enjoy Star Wars like most people, but I got too disillusioned with this franchise because of how toxic the fandom is and how they grifted off of their hatred for the newest and TV shows, and made thousands of dollars off of misogynistic YouTube videos about them.
That feeling when you remake a low budget 70s horror movie but it somehow costs $50-$100 million USD because Hollywood. :P
