paige (left) will be the pov character, so no sprite for her! sad. but I've been meaning to update their designs for a whiile now so I drew both of them :>

paige and emery drawn side by side. paige still has her trademark big stupid purple coat (affectionate), she's just been desaturated. and emery now has very very long hair, drawn tied up in chains and looking sorry for themself and a bit objectified (being tied up in chains will do that to you. sorry emery)

this one is of the aarakocra. there are three different colourways of three different outfits, some prop sketches, and some compositional thumbnails. the page is littered with notes.

a similar page for the dragonborn. this time, there's one fullbody to nail down the design, a little rendering test, and a series of rough arm-drill designs. as before, there is also a section consisting of compositional thumbnails.

I don't usually feel self conscious about it, because most people won't notice, but I saw someone nitpicking these kinds of errors in another artist's work and I was like :O oh no, some people *really* notice this kind of thing...

zoomed in screenshot of the drawing from the beginning of the thread, with a bunch of tiny little errors circled. we're talking, you still have to look quite closely to notice them, levels of tiny.

my art has changed a lot more than I thought it had!! I still love giving this guy tail-centric poses, though. as a kid I'd sit in maths imagining I had a big long tail just like it and how it would be inconvenient but also comforting and it was one of my more pleasant daydreams

having little shorthand ways of drawing my ocs is one of my favourite things I think! I love when my little guys look like wonky versions of themselves... it's fun to see what sorts of inconsistencies shine through on different days too!
