2026: Year of the Fire Horse! Usually I do a painting of the year's Zodiac after newyears. I've been pretty busy with work for the past while, but I finally had a moment to get this one wrapped up. I like my fire-horses with extra torque!
A heads up! I'll be heading to Magicon in Oslo this Saturday & Sunday. We're bringing the latest build of Vikings on Trampolines, there will be Owlboy merch at the booth, and we'll be holding a presentation at 5 on Sunday about Viking's development up until now
Some older OOT art. I always did love the 64-era illustration's use of deep shadows. Should make some new Zelda art soon, I'm feeling in the mood.
Mina the Hollower is out! I was going to just make a quick sprite, but I got a bit carried away and just ended up making a full on high-res mockup instead. Haven't even got around to playing the final release! Gotta fix that.
Alright, I'm back home. Just give me a minute here...
This is all I can do as I'm flying over the north pole at the moment but... SOON!
I was incredibly honored to receive the PlayStation award at #bitsummit on behalf of D-Pad Studio at tonight's award show! I was completely blindsided, so thank you to everyone that's taken the time to drop by and play Vikings on Trampolines. It's been great meeting you all!
Starting Day #2 at @BitSummit In 4 hours ( 14.00 Kyoto local ) I'll be talking with @themix.bsky.social to showcase the latest version of Vikings On Trampolines ✨
Bluto and Yellda joining in on the windmill festival. I'll be traveling to #BitSummit in Kyoto tomorrow. We'll be bringing the Viking on Trampolines Adventure mode for the first time, so if you want to catch up, be sure to drop by the Bitsummit Punch area (3F-D03)
Uh... well this is weird. I found this old joke drawing i did back in 2005 (very of the times...) They're a dead ringer for the current look of Reddie and Bluto from Vikings on Trampolines, but I didn't make these designs until 2019.
Second set of Mira outfits from Pillow delivery, Gekko Escort, Trap Room and Snow Crossing. Since I just make these up on the fly as I paint them, I'm sometimes surprised they're as coherent as they are when redrawing them.
Hey! Don't forget: The Games of Norway Steam sale goes live on Monday! There's 150+ Norwegian developed games to choose from! You can check them out on our website: gamesofnorway.com
Got the idea to redraw some of Mira's outfits I've put her in throughout the years. Starting with her more familiar and later making my towards the more unconventional.
Another quick Tomodachi Life thing I threw together between work. Tried adding Mira to the game. My spouse's (@raptorjules.bsky.social) cheerleader chatterbox character became her best friend. Mira's whole character is she barely speaks with people, so that tracks I guess?
Trying to do other things, so here's something rough and quick between other work. Been playing a ton of Tomodachi Life with my spouse. Been mostly adding old characters, but we had a blue and a pink bat sitting on our table, so we took turns making them into people. Figured I'd sketch 'em.
I'm responsible for the visual and logo design for this. Paintin' rocks and letters seems to be my calling in life, so it was a good fit.
Process for this painting that I never shared here. The painting started as a random 1-minute doodle I made during a trip, so a lot changed during the process, including the entire perspective.
"The teapots are crossing Godmouth" Updated version now that Bluesky can handle the format correctly. I always enjoyed how the lighting came out in this one.
