Most unexpected recommendation / rental of the day. One of my customers is the UK PR guy for Fun Lovin' Criminals, and popped in to check I had The Star Chamber as it'd been recommended to him by Brian 'Fast' Leiser.

Posted our 1000th essay to The Schlock Pit tonight. Not bad for two fellas doing some writing on the side in the (minimal) spare time we get between full time jobs and life chores. It's also been the catalyst to everything we've ever done; Arrow, Graver, 88 Films, Full Moon book...

Sunday's are intense, mainly because I open reduced hours. Holy moly though. 62 minutes for this leaning tower to rent out... But hey, who'd use a video store in 2025 😏
I've never used Spotify in my life (I know, my saintliness knows no bounds - *groan*), so I can certainly get behind a justifiable boycott of this capitalist warmongering entity. Disposable incomes are increasingly fragile, and the cost of stuff is going up - but - please try + buy physical media.
So excited to feature on TWO of 88's releases for March 2026. Yes! We have commentaries on one of my favourite films of all time, STRIPPED TO KILL (1987), AND on *SORORITY HOUSE MASSACRE (1986). *Probably. Not taped it yet, or done any prep. Reckon we can wing it?

'Revive the days of the vidoe [sic] store' Groan... Another boutique label springs up in the UK. More video store nostalgia (no comment!). Weird one this though. Minimal social media presence. Can a start-up survive without that? Pre-ordered two of their releases anyway. See what rocks up...

Our 34th audio commentary has been leaked, and it's for an early Full Moon classic that was directed by the guv'nor himself... yes, it's Charles Band's CRASH AND BURN (1990). Out from 88 Films this coming December!
Finally completed the only Poe cycle worth talking about... HOUSE OF USHER (2008) arrived today. Outrageous fee. Worth it though.
