The ring around his sixth finger holds Ort’s dead world.
Mark a stress to release his full power: he’s large, 20hp, 10 in all stats, deals massive damage with its punches, squeezes, and so on, can push, guard you, and do whatever a giant hand could do. If you don’t puppet it, it will do its best to protect you. When its Substance reaches 0, it will return the next evening.

Today I worked on photobashing a ton of my favorite maps together to begin work on a Songbirds setting guide.

Berserker
The smiling beast is pinned to the dark side of the moon. He gave you the horns upon your head.
When you defeat someone in combat, add advantage to attack and damage for the rest of the scene as you become more beastly.
If one of your horns breaks, you enter beast mode and perform an impossible feat.
You smell emotions.
Your eyes see in total darkness.

Black Mage
After petition and plea and beg, your personal demon has acquiesced, allowing you a glimpse of their intensity.
You have access to the Demon Hand (page 70).
You speak the language of Oblivion.
Your tongue is forked and sensitive to smells.

We’re a few weeks into season 2. I have put 100 hours into the game on steam and 400 on PS5. I have played this game a lot. I don’t have a lot of credentials beyond this: I am a game designer and I love this game. I have written thousands of words about this game already. Everything I say here comes from the fact that I love this game. My goal here is to be annoying and offer my suggestions for what is wrong and how to fix it, based on that love. I believe if I can show you the experiences I have that have led to 500 hours of my life, then you can see where I’m coming from. To that end, I’m also attempting for every suggestion to use an already existing system within the game.

The greatest feeling in this game is starting with a free kit and seeing where it ends up after 3-4 runs. Or taking your best gear and getting a 4-6 run streak before losing it. Getting to know those guns and that kit, getting used to it, and then losing it. In a game that gives you SO MUCH STUFF, this is winning to me. This is Doing Well. This is the intended outcome of learning the game’s systems.

With all this in mind, let’s dive in.

I guess at some point you just stop eating bugs. I can’t say when or how. Or if there’s a why. One day you and your friend share a worm between you (it’s hot outside, too hot for skin, sky a painful blue, creek is begging for rain while trees hold their breath) and the next thing you know, you’re 34, and you can’t talk about it anymore. You think eating bugs is normal. They did it in the Lion King. Y’know, you were a kid. That’s what kids do. But when you bring it up, even couching it as a “weird thing you did a long time ago,” everyone is, like, “no, ew, gross, you’re a mutant, time to die.” Public execution at next light.

But I don’t know when I stopped or why. We never liked eating the bugs. It just happened. Slime and crunch. Bleugh. I would never do that now. I’d gag. I can’t remember if I did it then. And it’s not like we did it all the time, just more than once. And it wasn’t a dare or anything like that. Y’know, you punch his shoulder and egg him on to do something you’d never, ever do, like, poke the dead animal, or break into that abandoned building, or run away from his stepfather, disappearing into the night. But it wasn’t like that. Like, maybe at first we flirted with it as a dare. Haha, wouldn’t it be funny if? But the memories aren’t like that. I don’t remember the first time or the last, but it wasn’t like that. You’d just be trawling through the creek, hips wet, shirts soaked and wrapped around the scalp, and you’d see a little trawler on the water, scoop it up and down it goes. Sure, we’d laugh, or even say “ew.” But no one really meant anything. The eating didn’t mean much. Nothing really did.

I used to have two reddit accounts. One where I was a boy writing about my gonzo Dungeons and Dragons setting. And one where I was a girl that got paid an OK rate to be your girlfriend for an hour at a time. I did this both to microdose being a girl when I didn’t feel ready to come out, and to supplement my non-existant income while I was in college because I wanted to get painfully drunk while listening to jazz with my friends at the Green Mill on the weekends.

When I wasn’t writing about the ocean of blood in the mouth of a giant that births red dragons, folks were paying me to act as their loving partner. We’d have phone sex, and sext, and play video games late into the night. Sometimes I would meet these people, but only once did it end in letting them fuck me. All facilitated throu

I'm writing to you from the future. The speakers are buzzing. There is very little light and not much to do.

We play these games. They're called Forever Games. It's part of a movement called Forever Art. People dreamed of this in the 21st century. Now it is a way of life.

Forever Art is something that grows with the artist and thus with you. A Forever Artist will start a project when they are young, just out of schooling. The world just asks you provide something of use to it in order for the world to provide for you. Art is enough for some.

I work a Nothing Job. These are jobs that do nothing but fill time. I carry things from one spot to another. I think we make doors, but all I see are boxes. The building I work in is the length of the planet and twice as thick. I don't know what that means or where she goes.
