私は母方の叔母の誕生日の前日に生まれた 「私と同じ日になるからもう一日(産むのを）待って」と叔母は冗談で母に言っていたらしい 叔母には子供がいない 歳の離れた叔父はすでに他界して、今は施設で暮らす彼女へ年に数回花を送っている 七月は叔母と私の誕生月 今年はどんなブーケを彼女に贈ろうかな

グリーンベルトへの出入り口はたくさんあるけれど華やかなピンクで彩られているのはここだけではないかな 薔薇が期待通り良い香りだった The greenbelt has many entrances/exits, but this might be the only one decked with vibrant pink. The rose smelled as lovely as I had thought it would.

一昨日の夕方散歩 夕方、と言っても午後8時過ぎ 朝とは違ってさすがにお目目ぱっちりの椰子の木メンさん この黄色い花はオオゴチョウ、エンドウに似た鞘をつけてると思ったら同じ種族なのですって 花だけだとそうとはわからないから、わざわざ豆科だという証拠を見せているような気がしてくる #Bird #BarnOwl #DesertBirdOfParadise
この子、口のまわりがすごいことになってる リスさんは木の幹や枝に汚れたところを擦り付けて綺麗にするのですって その真っ最中だったね This little one’s mouth is a total mess. Squirrels rub themselves on tree trunks or branches to clean. It looks like this one was doing just that. #Squirrels
