I have never warmed up to eBooks. I read 100s of academic papers in PDF format but I exclusively refer to a printed page for my fiction and nonfiction reading. Reading is a tactile activity. Holding a paperback or hardcover and flipping through pages is part of the experience. #HitchhikersGuide

In southern Colorado. Peaking at K=8.67, this is the strongest storm I’ve seen since leaving AK. I did see a display within the past two years in which green aurora dominated.
This storm is an 8.6. Don’t know that I’ve ever seen anything higher than a 7 or 7.5

Today I was browsing around on FlightRadar24 to see which planes were nearby. Moving my search over the Atlantic Ocean, I noticed a strange icon. Its flight pattern was wandering and FlightRadar said it was a high altitude balloon. A quick search on N253TH and Project Loon answered my questions.
A technique I use in assessing reuse solar panels is called electroluminescence. This involves placing a solar panel in the dark, biasing power through it and using a special camera to detect emissions from each silicon cell in near infrared. This is a 2012 Evergreen 195watt panel with ribbon cells.
