According a Pew survey of 19 countries, Americans are some of the least likely to be concerned about climate change. We are third from the bottom of the list. www.pewresearch.org/global/2022/...

Pew Survey results indicate Americans are among the least concerned about climate change on a list that also includes infectious disease, cyber attacks and misinformation (ironically). Only Israel and Malaysia were less concerned about climate change than the US, according to the survey.

Tell me why this House district is or is not gerrymandered. What qualifies as gerrymandering?

Also, as a former biologist, I can tell you that most underbellies are light colored, a phenomenon called counter coloration or countershading. Whether sharks or mice, tummies are pale.

I felt that way today. On a walk with a friend, we stumbled on these plein air painters and seemingly very happy cows, who could have moved away but seemed to prefer being near the painters.

I was the youngest in a very talkative and argumentative family and I could never get a word in edgewise. I like microblogging because I can say something. We're constantly being reminded we shouldn't be online so much and should "touch grass." But my offline world is very real. It's all good.

The Greenland thing is seen as a joke by a lot of people on Bluesky. It's not a joke. Neither is making Canada a state. These little jokes are at least partly about monopolizing the Arctic Ocean for shipping, oil, and global power/warfare.

It's a tan oak.
