my one big problem with the OOT remake's reveal is the music. I. Low-key can't stand it? 😭 It's so heavyhanded in motif teases that it feels obvious what they're going to do even if you didn't know the leaks. Same subtlety as showing grey scale images of the original game.

imagine seeing that pitch pilot, a crisis crossover of cartoons you love, tied together by a group of fun ocs, on its surface this combines the demographics of Kingdom Hearts with Cartoon Network, and it generated this huge fanbase, and then you find out this was the creator's vision
Pibby's concept art really is fascinating in how hard it crashed all interest in the show. The initial announcement it got turned down devastated the hardcore fans but I think when we saw the Yosemite Sam art was when some realized the people down on it were 100% right about it.

Im trying to like convince myself of a Miyamoto who wanted to make Mario this sugar fest for kids bc he wants them to be consistently entertained by him but wants Zelda to be this somewhat more artistic movie for older audiences bc just doing this won't cut it for him
I genuinely figured this was a slip up and we'd see a Wooly World port announcement during the year after we saw this but now we have Mysterious Book and I genuinely believe they just mistook it for Crafted World
So far Switch 2 era Mario has been excellent and I'm very happy about it
