Come to section 207 if you want my mom to kick your ass. We’re the dummies who don’t know how $2 beer works (shout out the beer man who helped us out.)
Cant recommend the Mom Moving Company highly enough. She’ll transport your furniture across the country and get it into your home in half an hour. (Not picture: the dresser she also brought.)
Happy #FreetheFiveFriday and HAPPY BIRTHDAY to our committee member Garrett Felber! Garrett’s commitment to freedom for all is a core part of our committee and we appreciate their creativity and compassion! Design by @tea-ddie.bsky.social
One small piece was Andrew’s patience and guidance as my sponsor for confirmation this year. I would never have bothered to return to the church without his presence in my life, and it has really deepened my commitment to others and to a better world. Plus I think we’re the same height, in my mind.
Here’s to many more lake and boat days for us in the future.
Happy #FreetheFiveFriday!!! Loving my new shirt with a design by @tea-ddie.bsky.social and glad to be a part of a campaign that knows we can pressure the oppressors.
Came all the way to labor notes for this one simple thing @haymarketbooks.org
I am NOT GOOD at taking pictures of my off brand comrade cards (conrad cards?) and then half the time they’re for someone hashtag on here who I don’t want knowing it’s coming, but here are two I made today.
Numbers do not mean anything but also small milestones are fun: today I marked my 1000th book as “read” on Goodreads (yes I use the bad site, I also use the other one, it’s fine.)
Giving to @nationalbailout.bsky.social’s Mother’s Day Free Black Mama’s in honor of my mom, who I love dearly, and all the other women in my life who have mothered me! I love my mom, AND I like her, and I feel blessed that that is true!
Summer plans starting early: me, chair, books, under the tree in the sunshine
You: at mayday having a grand time Me: replanting some onions so my neighbor can have the barrels and planting 7 onions
And of course me today, age 32 and a half, older and wiser and more tired but also living life in ways I couldn’t have imagined before. We made it, and we continue to make it each day.
This was me in 2011. I was both deeply unhappy and also joyful and having a wild time in life. I was 17 and learning so much about the world I could hardly keep myself contained. This kid was deeply embarrassing in so many ways, but I’m also proud to have been hir.
This May Day, stealing @ladyofsardines.bsky.social’s comrade card practice to start my own practice! I have zero idea what I’m doing with watercolors, but I’m having fun slapping colors on there.
After having to delay because of lack of time and rain, my onion bulbs are in the ground!
I haven’t tried to grow anything since the summer we had a family garden and I ate a cucumber that I grew every night until I threw up in my sleep, but with guidance I am growing onions this year (or trying to lol) so tonight I started to Play in the Dirt
btw also was busy today but just texted mom about it
