That's a relief for both their physical wellbeing and our budget! We do still need to save up for the dental care, which is a much bigger expense, however.

Today is packing day for heading back to mom's tomorrow for the next chemo week. My skin is doing the thing - all tingles all over. But last night, platonic partner shaved my head for me so that makes me happy, at least. (With ~3 month's worth of hair growth, with a freshly shaved head)

Cat Tax:

Ah. My hair was getting yucky long - months worth of growing in. Finally got it shaved again and I feel so much better both physically and emotionally. Look in the mirror like - it me!

Sharing this one both because it includes both cats and shows the absolute mess I live in because of how overwhelming life can be.

This week we wanted to highlight a whole community of incredible fans. The Big Brother Bluesky community has been growing in numbers and making it feel like BB Twitter circa 2015. Our bloomfs have some of the funniest takes - and have even come together to hire Etsy witches to help or curse players 🧙‍♀️. Hope us BB Interns are never on their bad side. This fandom knows how to show love to their favorites, especially when Rachel returned to her HOH era.

We're at the peak of good produce season rn including amazing local tomatoes - so I got ingredients for and made panzanella (bread salad) this week. It's so good, it's all I can do not to eat all 6 servings at once!

I need you all to know that none of these photos of your pets are unflattering. Also there are no unflattering pics of my pets - only bad pics because I'm not a great photographer lol But here's one of my guys being bookends on the sofa arms - you can see the full mess of my apartment. 🤭

On a very messy sofa with blankets strewn about all over and piles tipping over here and there, there are two cats - each on the top of the sofa at each end. One, a white and black piebald spotted kitty named Sheldon, is curled up on the top of the sofa back, his ears perked up like he's only feigning sleep. The other, a black and white tuxedo cat named Shisky, is reclined along the arm of the other end of the sofa, his head ducked down under the desk holding a printer behind the sofa and his tail wrapped around his back legs. A many stickered laptop sits in the middle of the blanket strewn sofa.

Every time I cook with Impossible beef, I'm blown away all over again with how much it cooks up just like regular meat and tastes so good! Anyway, the ginger beef* and broccoli turned out really delicious. Roomie had some vegetarian oyster sauce which added such a nice dimension to the flavor.

A black wok on a stove is filled with Impossible ground "meat", sugar snap peas, and both florets and medallions of stem from broccoli in a brown sauce.

On a blue ceramic plate a bed of rice is topped with gingered "beef" and broccoli with sugar snap peas mixed in with broccoli florets and stem medallions and Impossible beef all mixed with a brown gingery sauce.
