Dear @bbc.com I think it is unfair to link Canada together with the US on this post? You link all North America posts together? Maybe split them on your bbc.com website? Canada has an excellent health care system & a government that encourages vaccination.
Good on you Archbishop, it's not just the heartbreak behind every statistic, it's the fact it's preventable & the complacency within society towards road deaths.
So, it annoys me that we Irish are so negative about languages including our own? Fundamentally, multi-lingualism is a great asset for fostering collaboration & employment. Gaeilge agus gach teanga eile Abú
Measles is preventable. Measles maims & kills. The US is in a Measles mess.
Such a privilege to cycle past Croke park on way to work. Up Kerry tomorrow although feel for Mayo.
Well said Sarah Moss. @irishtimes.com We need a culture shift out of thinking cars are the only mode of transport in this country.
Solution, find out, by surveying 1000 M50 car users why they are using their car, to see 1) if there is a reliable public transport option they are not using, 2) if there is demand for one to be developed, 3)if there really was a need for their journey? Building another lane won't work, never does.
