Can confirm. Travelling around the Scottish Highlands back in 2018 and we'd keep hitting the edge of the map.
Couldn’t work out where the dog was so I went outside to find him keeping an eye on the local ringtail possum that patrols the fence line.
Also, this was my first dog 30 years ago, Homer (not the yellow guy). He was a good boy.
Working on making up space houses today... Also, what's a straight line?
SURPRISE! I made pizza again today. OK, so that surprised nobody. Anyway, I made a fresh batch of dough this morning. I was a little worried the yeast was gone but it turned out lovely. New York style crust this time in the kitchen oven. Look at that flop...none! As usual, tasted great.
A new birb from Gunwale just dropped, the pinwing. I do pinwings now, pinwings are cool. They get their name from the venomous spurs on their wings (you can tell it's a bird designed by an Australian)
I had some leftover dough in the freezer so I took it out this morning and defrosted it. Tonight I made pizza from it. Turned out fine. Here's the 4 slices I ate for dinner, the other half is in the fridge for cold slices later.
6 months into the year, I finally started putting this together. Part art book and part world guide. It's going to have lots of sketches and behind-the-scenes process, as well as heaps of world info and art.
Trying to find a new look for Kit that I actually want to draw again.
After all that printing pain on the arse, here’s me playing around with a (yet another) new kit look.
So by removing that graphic of the number 2 from a panel that bleeds off the page the Amazon page checking AI cleared the comic for printing. It's bullshit and asking for human help just got me a chatbot pretending to be human that spat the same shit back at me. Anyway it's approved now. #FuckAI
I love collecting my silly comics fun into print editions. Here are 4 of the latest collections (with a few more on the way) now available on Amazon as Kindle (DRM free) or paperback editions. www.amazon.com/stores/Steve...
Who would have ever imagined that I'd make pizza again just two days later? Same dough as previously with 2 pepperoni types, chorizo and anchovies. Cooked in the kitchen oven on a steel. Came out nice and crispy. No notes.
I make the stories that I want to make, I don't wait for somebody else's permission. Kindle versions of all my comic series are now available on Amazon (DRM free) with print versions on the way. This is your reminder, don't wait, go ahead and tell your own stories. Also, fuck AI. I like the work.
The rain has backed off so yesterday I made a batch of pizza dough and this arvo I fired up the Ooni and made a big 16-inch pepperoni pizza. I could have waited longer to get the stone hotter but it still turned out very nice, even if that size is tricky to launch.
On the weekends I've been trying to not work on Gunwale (even though I'd be happy to) just to make sure my brain isn't over focused on it. So I've been playing around with ideas for a new Kit design. 2nd shot is some of the old ones I've done previously.
Grey butcherbird singing while sheltering from the rain out the back patio.
