i honestly think they were trying to give him like. hazel(?) eyes bc like 😭 they rlly do be shifting!!
what's interesting is it IS more of a yellow-green, esp in this official render here!! he def does NOT have the same green as fox, or even james for that matter!! maybe they could've done more straight yellow into wolf's eye but!! i still like it :')
green is less intimidating, but i also love the thought of wolf's eyes reflecting like this in the dark & scaring the shit outta ppl (not that they HAVE to be green for that to happen bc it's the pupil that reflects light not the iris but it's just where my mind goes LOL)
me making wolf's eye color do what the gemstone alexandrite does (green in sun/flourescent light, red/violet in low light/dark) bc i don't wanna choose bc this mf had had at LEAST 3 eye colors throughout this franchise 🫶
watched the video of all the voice lines nintendo posted on my bday & the unholy screech i made at andrew's quote they chose bc yes, it is That Serious 2 me...
yep!! as newborns they have pink noses & brown fur!! (nose turns black within a week) and by the time they are about 6 weeks old they will mostly have their signature red/orange/cream/white fur color!
