I don't usually post animation wips but since i'm putting my drawing time into artfight this month, I will slip a teaser for a cartoon of Raileater I started at the end of june

a war dragon and her kobold! I've been wanting to make some kind of gun dragon creature for a while, and also needed to practice perspective on bendy shapes. I was looking at heraldic dragons for inspo. A friend had some suggestions for her name, gonna go with Skathi! her babies are also lil guns
say hello to Viktor the pool vulture! I really felt a need to make a cute and cuddly character. I've never tried drawing something like this before, but I think it turned out decently! He's very sweet and friendly, and I was thinking of having him be a part-time necromancer? colour pencil, 3 days

when I make the coloured sketch drawings, i usually start everything out pretty loose, and just render as I go. it's been a really fun way to make coloured illustrations quickly, bc I can test out shading styles without committing like, a month to a drawing
