Still ongoing for days (nearly a week) ….really @andyburnham.bsky.social please act to Renationalise water. How many litres lost through a burst water main they obviously can’t quickly patch up???

Email from Anglian water with photos of men in hi viz orange jackets. We're sorry if you're currently experiencing either very low water pressure or no water at all. This is being caused by a burst water main in your area.
Based on the latest information available, we're aiming to have everything back to normal by 6:00 pm on 17 August 2026.
There's nothing you need to do - we'll keen vou undated every step of the way.

@andyburnham.bsky.social please nationalise water. Gross mismanagement has allowed degradation of the infrastructure This cannot be fixed whilst all the owners are interested in is profits. Since yesterday… when 3/4 of the country is in a drought Cannot be allowed to continue.

Someone tell the BBC that the cost of heating enough water to run a bath and the cost of filling a bath tub with water would definitely prevent me from having a good night’s sleep!!!

Friday question. How much pavement is it acceptable to use as your own parking bay?
