The text of the email I just sent to my MP, the Liberal house leader and Mark Carney. Marilyn Gladu is antithetical to Liberal values. Period. Either Liberals have values or they don’t.

As a proud resident of Ottawa, and a Canadian who believes in vaccines, science and the rule of law, I am appalled that the Liberal Party would accept Marilyn Gladu into caucus.

She supported and even cheered on the occupation of Ottawa which traumatized our neighbours and harmed our international reputation.

Prime Minister Carney, who represents an Ottawa riding, has certainly shocked many of his own constituents with his acceptance of someone who gleefully cheered on the reckless behaviour of the convoy.

Securing a majorly by abandoning Liberal values is a loss for Canadians, Mr. Carney, and democracy.
