It's the Zardoz Building!

Forum Theatre, Melbourne. Faux-Moorish decorated theatre built in 1929. There are some odd gargoyle faces on the exterior, reminiscent of the flying head in John Boorman's 'Zardoz'.

The great red-legged Scissor Man, from the 19th C German children's book, Struwwelpeter (Shock-Haired Peter), an anthology of cautionary rhymes to terrify children into good behaviour. The Scissor Man punishes children who suck their thumbs by amputating the offending digits.
