There's only one Max Cady, and you definitely don't want to be rooting for him. .
Nearly done with this one. Well done (in a depressing sort of way). Excellent follow-up to Weiner's National Book Award winning Legacy of Ashes.
Currently reading. The Life You Save May Be Your Own: An American Pilgrimage by Paul Elie. Bios on Flannery O'Connor, Thomas Merton, Dorothy Day, Walker Percy. Amazing weave work by Elie. Beautifully written.
Currently reading. It's surprisingly good (and I was pretty skeptical). Yeah, it's a pastiche, but a well executed one. Love the cover art.
Hey, Pastor Lou! I hope you're well. I always liked Wordsworth (Solitary Reaper, Tintern Abbey). Recently I read a collection by a poet named Gjertrude Schnackenberg. I'm pretty sure she's Lutheran. It's not easy poetry, and I was unfamiliar with the Bach piece, but I still liked it.
