Ok. Maybe I will be ok back here in #austin. My grand day out included #thenaturalgardener donating blood, #tomsdive shop and @birdhousebooksatx.bsky.social which is such a sweet #bookstore, I almost embarrassed myself by weeping. I guess you can’t take the #atx out of the gal after all.

My eye stopped twitching most of the day. It took 10 days for my eyesight to stop being affected by this nervous twitch. No one should ever have to work in a place where that happens. #worktrauma is real. Be kind to #librarians . I know no one here cares, but it’s good to leave a record.

One week away from work. My eye twitch is still present, but receding. I cooked a lot of beans. Somehow I managed to get #costochondritis and got an rf treatment for it today. To my surprise, I found myself exhausted. I didn’t realize how profound my work #trauma is. #librarysky #labor #labour

My colleagues took me to a #tiki bar that I didn’t even know was there. It was an utter delight and I went to sleep extremely well buzzed. Thank you. I wandered around #decatur and got some ice cream at #butter&cream & took a @waymo.bsky.social home. #waymo makes me feel so safe.

I made my final thing for the #library . It’s a kid’s event passport that I had to print at #fedexkinkos because our system doesn’t have a color copier. They don’t give librarians discounts, btw, so I spent almost $200 of my own money to print these things. They are hard to manipulate one-handed.
