He/him. Sometimes comics maker. Union liker. Many different users state that they do not like or want me posting. I block with great abandon. Sometimes just to feel alive.
Working on getting a better setup for getting pics of my little guys. Might need to give up doing it with my phone camera. Anyway, here’s a Big Mek Dakkarig.
My contribution to #makeaterriblecomicday2026 First time I’ve done so. First comic I’ve made in years. But one of probably hundreds of minis I’ve made in that time.
Also finished the Big Mek with Shokk Attack Gun. This is an older model and while I look forward to seeing it in a more updated aesthetic, it’s a super fun amount of silly and janky. The end of his gun is attached with magnets so it’ll spin for dramatic effect.
Finished up my best mini so far, Wazdakka Gutsmek. Orks aren’t my passion, but goddamn are they fun.
Ah, man. I need to go camping soon so I can do a campfire. By myself. In the mean time, I stated in and finished painting this weirdo.
Not quite done with my Wazdakka Gusmek model, but it’s the best mini I’ve painted so far. Almost wish I could field 10 of him so I could paint him 10 times.
Played the first of the Maelstrom missions with a friend we had a blast. I won, but the way this mini-campaign works, there’s no guarantee that means I stay ahead. My Orks are Kult of Speed and they are dumb and they are fun.
Prometheus is what happens when a megalomaniac sends a crew of true believers and mercenaries on a mission built on faith instead of science. It’s Trump sending Ivanka into space to make him immortal. Of course everyone is a dipshit. That’s a feature, not a bug. Plz get me this hoodie.
I am happy for any excuse to share Tuvix with the world. He’s a goofy, funny guy. He likes to run like a maniac, destroy things, and gets anxiety if you give him a treat that’s too big. And he’s definitely not spoiled. Don’t put in the newspaper that he’s spoiled.
I made an old man with some puppies. My Space Wolves list is looking almost decent.
Post the best picture you have ever taken of your pet (if you feel like it): This is Tuvix. He’s photogenic as hell, so this was a real challenge.
Played my first in-person 2K point game of Warhammer 40K tonight. Had a fuckin’ blast killing my friend’s guys while he killed my guys. 12/10 would use the smokescreen strategy and keep a Predator Destructor alive for a full battle round longer than it should have been.
Also made some Intercessors, complete with mediocre to bad hand painted markings. Realized I was painting an army with these guys and dialed back the detail. It made them a lot of fun and I’m going to be more selective about going whole hog with basic infantry in the future.
40K posting: I made a tank. Got a Rhino for cheap and glued a lot of silly shit to it. Then I realized that literally none of my Space Wolves could ride around in it, so it was useless as a transport. GW doesn’t sell upgrade sprues, so I printed what I needed to make it a Predator Destructor.
I rolled 2 6’s and then 2 5’s on that Upstart (on a 5+ Invuln Save) on attacks that each would have killed my little revolutionary. “You can’t kill an idea!” (they did eventually kill him)
Had a great game of 40K today. Made an Upstart Gretchin from the Maelstrom books and holy shit are Gretchin the MVP of every game I’ve had them in. Won by a lot thanks to all the farmed CP and 2 groups of Gretchin holding 3 objectives until round 3. Took Terminators to kill my Revolutionary.
I had a lot of fun painting this guy. I started his intestines with fluorescent pink paint and then built up from there.
Still working my way through my Warhammer Quest: Darkwater box. The Blight Templars!
I maybe should have printed this at a different orientation but this is going to be very satisfying.
Tuvix doesn’t really care about hockey (the rink is too cold, thank you), but he’s nosy so he’d stare to try to figure out what was happening.
