Art Director for Magic: The Gathering. Opinions are my own. He/Him
2nd year I’ve visited Chicago, and I loved it even more than last time. Incredible city, incredible people.
Hello everyone, I’m very happy to announce that I just finished the first day in my new role as Art Director for Wizards of the Coast, specifically MtG. This is still all so surreal, but I couldn’t be happier to be here, and I’m so excited for what’s to come! #WOTCStaff
Been reading a chapter of ‘Neuromancer’ every day, and it’s so, so good. It’s also funny to see so much of the modern language of the cyberpunk genre just within the first few chapters. Art by Juan Gimenez.
I actually would love this film to not be as action-heavy, or at least have the action as a backdrop in the world, and not the focus. To me, some of my favorite Elden Ring moments are the quieter ones.
Still playing through Cyberpunk, now in the DLC. While I actually quite like the main story, it's not paced the best, and sometimes feels unfocused. In contrast, the DLC feels tight and to the point, and I've constantly muttered "hell yeah" during missions. Also it remains extremely pretty.
I have been playing Cyberpunk 2077 for the first time, and it sure is quite a pretty game.
Most of these ingredients will last months to a year. Even then there’s often seasoning packets/sauce jars that do well enough if you don’t wish to buy individual ingredients.
For the next two weeks Alamo Drafthouse is showing episodes from Twin Peaks and I’m getting in on that, I’m so excited!
I haven’t played it yet, but I feel like Cyberpunk makes it work pretty well on both the technical and artistic end, whereas a lot of games implementing it focus on just the technical.
Hello! It's been a year and some change since I was laid-off from my previous job, and I'd love a new one. My name is Steve and I have 7 years of experience in the animation industry as a background artist and illustrator. I've worked on shows like Castlevania, and card games like MtG!

This image is funny but legit this is how 3D art feels like to me. The way I talk to other artists about shader node groups may as well be like two wizards sharing magical runes between each other.
I think I finally am cracking the code on this 3D-Ghibli stuff. I watched an amazing tutorial on the trees from @AversionReality that really helped me understand shader nodes way better. I'm also using assets from @Reipart_ (The grass) and @FaruqTawsif (The flowers).
Experimenting with Ghibli-style trees in Blender. Most of this is based off of @FaruqTawsif's amazing Ghibli-inspired asset library (link below), but I modified it to have a camera-vectored shadow texture on top, and a custom texture for the tree mesh itself.
