A mighty Walpurgisnacht to you all. Get thee to the Brocken!

A goat on the top of a hill, ostensibly the Brocken, awaits blazing with infernal radiance, as witches and revealers fly and dance their way closer to the waiting horned figure.

Will your valiance shine white as snow, Or will the darkness of your heart stain through?

Is your body the casket? Do you know your graveyard?

Have you seen the blood on the ground? Can you see the stars from there?

You got to the pearly gates, but you looked down.

Now your wedding is black, and the mass is ruined.

Graveless, graveless, bodies stacked like cordwood in a trench.

They might not run, but they bleach in the sun like everything else does.

No sides, now

Blast and crash and flash of muscle,
Lightning brightening, and thunder double,
Keep the herd and make 'em hustle,
I've thought of might that way.

But fire burns the forest clean,
The bolts' wide strike breaks skies serene, And the goad tows slow animals mean.
I saw that power doesn't play.

I've seen that might has no sides now,
No strong, no small, and yet somehow,
It's might's delusions I recall, I really don't know might at all.

A hundred weeks in Amsterdam, A love as pure as Paschal lambs, And legs spread out like picnic ham,
I've had a lover stay.

Exquisite agony unreal,
Apocalypse too shy to feel,
That mortal coil blue, unhealed,
We died in love that way.

I've seen that love has no sides now,
From give to ache, and yet somehow,
That love's eternal after all,
I really don't know love at all.

Precious taste and thirst be quenched,
Appetites and lusts entrenched,
And satisfaction with a punch,
I've lived a life that way.

But hunger wanes the body frail,
And sickness strikes your pallor pale,
And war must break for peace to heal,
We'd live it anyway.

I've seen that life has no sides now
From laugh to howl, it's still somehow
This life's illusions I recall,
