My short-term disability insurance is fighting me on the last 6 weeks of work I missed. Because of this, we have completely emptied our savings. As the sole earner and caretaker for my partner and kids, we are now facing imminent eviction and vehicle repossession. We are applying for any assistance we are eligible for, and rounding up anything we have to sell.

I am forced to return to work this coming Monday before I am fully recovered. However, I won't see a paycheck for another 2 to 3 weeks, and we simply cannot wait that long to pay our critical bills. I am even struggling to cover the doctor copays needed to fight the insurance company.

If you have even a few dollars to spare to help us bridge this 3-week gap, my family and I would be eternally grateful.
