Favorite bit of swag: this balsa wood fan I got from one of the church booths
My mom took the family on a whale watch this weekend, and we saw an incredible number of whales and other sea mammals. Just spectacular. The pictures are mostly meh, but I am sharing one anyway.
I will attempt that, because it is a really good spindle. Look how pretty it is!
Finished plying the second skein, washed and finished them. 3 oz, 395 yards.
A good Example of coded antisemitism. What does the cost of chemo treatment in the US have to do with Israel? Absolutely nothing, and if we stopped funding Israeli bombs, it would not pay for universal health care.
🧶 It's been awhile since I posted fiber arts content. Here's the first skein of the 3-ply gradient I have been spinning (second skein goes back from purple to green). #fiberarts #spinning
Biali for breakfast. My mother went to the kosher bagel place right after opening and the baked goods are nice and fresh.
It's almost Shabbat! Share challah pics! (mine isn't baked yet, but I wanted to share anyway)

Using up dumpling wrappers from the freezer and serving chicken potstickers for Shabbat.
Four pans down, 8 to go. The apricot filling isn't really working - too wet - but the fig, cherry, and mun are looking good.
The dessert buns at this restaurant are absolutely adorable. Almost too cute to eat. (panda is red bean, pig is custard)
Finally throwing away my mom's breast pump she gave me when my first was born. It was state of the art in 1987.
