Eastern Bluebird. Once my final nest box fledges, I will have 38 successful fledglings this season! #birds
Yesterday, this lone baby fledged. Mama started cupping a nest right after baby left. Then an egg this morning. Didn’t even get a chance to clean out the box. Haven’t ever seen that fast of a turnaround time!
Oh! But it’s worth it! I cut up grapes for the Cardinals and Catbirds, too!

My Chickadee babies hatched yesterday. Both parents are working together to keep them warm, fed, and safe. So nice to have a camera on them so I can monitor without disturbing them! #birds
My dog has so much energy, he makes me crazy at times. But oh my gosh- can he be any cuter? (He also picks on our cat all the time- luckily, she has sharp claws!)
My first Bluebird nest fledged today and my 4th just hatched. I love helping these beautiful feathered friends so much! #birds

I am so pumped! 2 chickadee nests, 4 bluebird nests (one with white eggs) and a pair of Tree Swallows actively checking out a box. These incredible creatures are the best distraction from YKW! #birds
My 5 percenters are back! How does a pair of bluebirds migrate over hundreds of miles and come back to the exact same box 2 years in a row? Birds are amazing creatures!

I’ve got an ornery Downy destroying two of my boxes. I’ve never had this problem. I put a 1 1/8” hole reducer in the entry hole to only allow chickadees in. I have a camera in this box, too. She must have done this quickly.
