Got up at 4 am to take my trans adopted son for surgery on a fractured lower leg. It was a bad fracture but it went well. He has lived with my husband and I for 2 years. His bio mom rejected him as trans. Today I answered the question "who are you to him?". I said "I'm his mom". It felt so good.
