My porch plants in bloom. These are "legacy" plants (and "volunteers") from relatives long passed.

No idea what this plant is. It's a volunteer with teeny tiny white flowers that yield little 'berries' in clusters of five or six.

Asparagus fern. Another volunteer, this one coming up in an orchid pot. Have had that orchid 20 years, but the fern only came up 3 years ago.

Look what just visited my backyard! (Still there now!) 25 years here and I've never seen one. Google Lens suggests it's a Green Heron. That is one patient bird: we watched each other for an hour. 😆 (I tried to load videos, but Bluesky refused.)

Anyone know what these are? Found a dozen in dad's garden—different sizes, leathery, very slimy on the inside except for the white strips which were tough as cartilage. Google Lens suggested reptile egg or stinkhorn mushroom. There's no odor (yet). I think they're alien eggs.

Unknown: ~1.5x0.5", squishy, leathery exterior. Found about several inches underground in loose, wet soil along with ~dozens of others of varying sizes. The little 'roots' (mycelium?) appeared to be attached.

Same unknown object split open and laid on a dry leave. The 'shell' is bunched up in the upper left; the greenish stuff is exceedingly slimy (like banana slug slime); the white ribs running through the pinkish flesh are rigid like cartilage.

Harvest their seed pods and spread their joy. They have really high germination rate. I planted 9 in the front yard; two years later I had 100s 😊

His open mouth includes fangs and a serpent's tongue. Above his head are the words "No Kings", and above the "KIN" is a gold, serrated crown.

Trump as a baby wearing a soiled diaper and holding a jester-on-a-stick. The jester is thinking Trump has "TDS" (Trump Derangement Syndrome"). To the right is a 'quote' bubble, "LO IQ" (suggesting it's the baby that's low IQ). Under that is a roll of toilet paper labeled "EO" (Executive Orders). The title text is "No Kings," and the caption text says "Fight Fascism." There are two swastikas with red strike-out slashes.

Pigeon showering in the small solar fountain I originally set up for my hummingbirds (who do stop by to drink on the wing). But the pigeons have really taken to coming by and bathing several times a day.
