The correct North/South/Midlands map. One hundred per cent correct and no correspondence will be entered into.
Albion Women really pushing the interim head coach appointment while Shev goes on maternity leave. Lots of coaching experience but hasn't managed. Won't have any complaints if he hands back the reins with us in a better position than where he found us.
I think what kept me going was that if I turned round I had to do those 30 miles again for no reward. That's 60 miles. I'm only 15 miles from the chippy at Moffat. And that's nearly half way. So if I'm doing 60 I might as well do the planned hundred and get the train back to Carlisle.
This time 11 years ago I was just setting off from Bitts Park in Carlisle on an overnight bike ride in miserable weather to Cramond in Edinburgh. I'd like to say I loved it but after 30 miles I was ready to turn round at Lockerbie and give up. The weather cleared up by Moffat so I'm glad I didn't.
Look, the band I was in wasn't great but I, with no artistic ability whatsoever, was able to make a very nice gig poster, and faithfully recreate a low-quality logo – for nothing – with open source software, public domain assets, and a few hours' endeavour. You don't need AI.
Crikey. Hopefully they'll announce a proper farewell tour with UK dates because I suspect this will sell out pretty quickly and I'd have to renew my passport, etc. First got to see Edguy at JB's in Dudley in 2004. Felix threw his sticks into the crowd and one hit me near the eye. Still have it. \m/
Had a letter telling me there's a recall on my 18–year-old Vauxhall because of a potentially fatal airbag fault, telling me to register online, presumably to book an appointment. What it really does it take you to a chatbot that takes your info then skedaddles, telling you to book an appt yourself.
LOL. Even if I gave in to age verification, just take a look at all the people queueing up to talk to me. <travolta src="is lost.gif>
Nope. Try again. The Highway Code is absolutely clear that lane position and the choice to ride abreast of others is at riders' sole discretion based on their perception of safety and not for your convenience. Licensing a motor vehicle is a privilege, not a priority pass. hth Road tax? LOLOLOL
Nope. Try again. How come in 150 years of motor vehicle legislation not one British government has applied the same standards to self-powered transport? The compulsory driving test wasn't introduced until the 1930s, when motorists were killing close to ten thousand people every year.
I haven't listened to this album yet but the mastering engineer certainly made Choices.
A comment on @tonyvaughanmp.bsky.social written question regarding polystyrene hats and banana-coloured invisibility cloaks for cycling: they do more harm than good.
On a Lime bike along Alcester Road by the Prince. I'm in primary in lane 2 because I'm about to turn right into Chantry to park. I've left two car lengths between me and the car in front – the temptation was too great for the twit behind, going into oncoming traffic and cutting me up, because MGIF.
Saw this on FB and it was pretty much me at 16. I faked an injury ten minutes from time and walked off. I got my fee, they finished without me and that was it. Then I disappeared. Didn't fulfill any more fixtures and neither the County or league chased me up. Bet I was just another attrition stat.
