Update: The damage at my sister’s school is pretty bad. The hallway where her classroom is, which is her tornado sheltering area, is open to the sky. This is a different hallway in the school, but it gives you an idea of what they’re dealing with:

Seems like all of my Chicago/Valpo people are okay. The school where my sister teaches took some sort of direct hit, though.
