Sell your book in five words Portland zombie apocalypse, but romantic
For some reason Luis and Tabitha (words by me; art by Hollie Mengert) is seeing a big uptick in sales. This one came out in 2018, so it's nice to see it still going strong! (The art is absolutely gorgeous, by the way!)
If you like your horror on the silly side, you should check out my Hazel Graves books :) hazelgraves.com
Wrote a fun little book about ghosts! People seem to be enjoying it. :) bookshop.org/a/975/978164... www.amazon.com/dp/1646036751/
G'day #PortfolioDay! I'm a SoCal-based Aussie writer published with Harper, S&S, Macmillan, DK and more. I have heaps of experience with IP and have a TV show in development. If it's whimsical and/or fantastical, I'm your girl. www.stephaniecampisi.com Agent: jrasheed@ultraliterary.com
The main character of this book is reading the news with interest bookshop.org/a/975/978164... www.amazon.com/dp/1646036751
Hooray! The audiobook for 10 Things I Hate About Zombies will be narrated by the wonderful Amelia March (who also narrated Four Weddings and a Funeral Director) You can grab it from @libro.fm or your library on 15 Sept! libro.fm/audiobooks/9... #BookSky #romancelandia
10K into The Cursed Brides Club, and this one's turning out to be gloriously fun. My one minor ask is that Kate O'Flynn play Shelley in the adaptation. 🦝 🪡 🧵 ⛈️ #amwriting
This time a few years ago, Samson ate some oleander flowers and ended up in the animal hospital for a few days. It was very scary (and very expensive!) If you have pets or small kids, just a reminder that all parts of the oleander plant are poisonous.
Luis and Tabitha don't mind fireworks, but your furry friends might need some extra care tonight. 🎆 (art from Luis and Tabitha - words by me; art by Hollie Mengert)
The Unfinished Business is a whimsical, big-hearted middle grade novel about the things that haunt us - real and imagined. www.amazon.com/dp/B0FGYFQFRM bookshop.org/a/975/978164...
Cannot believe how utterly gorgeous the Broomsticklers interiors are! So completely magical. I can't wait to share them with you! www.simonandschuster.com/books/A-Wobb... #kidlit
Author copies of Cruel Summerween (by me, writing as Heather Spellman) arrived today! This one publishes in the UK with PanMacmillan on the 16th of July 🎃 ☀️ www.panmacmillan.com/authors/heat...
I can't show you the interiors yet, but here's the cover to tide you over for now. Art is by Karly Jade Catto! This one publishes with Atheneum/S&S in April 2027.
US friends, my bonkers romcom Four Weddings and a Funeral Director is just 99c all month! 🥀 🪦 💀 Would love it if you'd like to take a look, or even reshare! www.amazon.com/dp/B0DK8L8BHV #romancelandia
Anyway, this is is the book, if you'd like to take a squiz bookshop.org/a/975/978164... THE UNFINISHED BUSINESS March 2026 ISBN: 9781646036752
Working on Hazel Graves 4, which is a Frankenstein x First Wives Club mashup, and the soundtrack for this one is Sisters of Mercy. Buckle up: we're gonna get weird! 🖤🧵🪡
It's hot and dry, but good news: THE UNFINISHED BUSINESS is set in a weird, rainy little town, so you can pretend that it's not. And there are ghosts! bookshop.org/a/975/978164...
It's up on the Harper website, so I guess I can share that the title for Hazel Graves 4 is THE CURSED BRIDES CLUB! It's Frankenstein x The First Wives Club, and it's going to be wild! 🦝 💉 🧵 🪡 🪦
Back from the Quacks Like a Duck event at La Quinta Library! We read Quacks (words by me, art by Maria Lebedeva), had a Vegemite taste-test, made a sparkly platypus and enjoyed some fairy bread! #KidLIt
(If you haven't read Quacks Like a Duck - words by me, art by Maria Lebedeva - SURPRISE, it's about a platypus, not a duck!!)
Putting together some interview responses for a feature on The Unfinished Business, and I remain very proud of this book. It's probably going to be my most under-the-radar book, but I think it's quite special.
