I saw Spider-Man Brand New Day with my wife yesterday. It was wonderful. I think that it may be the best Spider-Man movie yet.

Today is my grandfather’s birthday. He was born on July 2, 1862 in Tennessee. His first memory was of his father placing him on a split rail fence to watch the soldiers from the Civil War going home. He was born 164 years ago when the nation was only 86 years old. History isn’t that long ago.

Currently reading. I believe that you can’t understand fascism in a given country by just the leader alone. You have to examine and understand those who the leader surrounds himself with and who implement his vision. This post is not just about Hitler and Nazi Germany.
I’m finishing up this book about the role stimulants and other drugs played in Nazi Germany, in particular how Hitler’s personal doctor continuously pumped him full of uppers to keep him going. I wonder what Trump’s doctors are pumping into him?
