Oh and in case I haven't mentioned it lately, the Milwaukee County Zoo ROCKS.
I aspire so hard to get to that point with a library. My husband gave my office library an upgrade a couple of weeks ago while I was on a business trip, and now I need more books for my shelves. I've read almost all of these (there are dups).
My sweet husband made his mind up about something last week, and he decided that it needed to be done. Behold my office library before/after! I can fit all of my books without stacking them! I was able to transfer my knitting books to one shelf!
When people tell me that they love Colorado and they don't understand why I'd ever leave, I usually learn that they've only been to Denver, Boulder, or one of the ski resorts. I think me only visiting Boise is probably exactly like that for Idaho, but dang if it isn't cute.
Hi Hope!! This is Smudge. Little black kittens make the best of friends.
Kinda felt like crying all day for absolutely no reason whatsoever but surely that's nothing that a big ass bowl of pasta and a romcom can't fix.
I just looked at his Facebook, and it was him sure enough. This is my place.
My dog loves fruit so much that he decided to seize the means of production.
My pup had a vet visit yesterday and he gets some sleepy meds beforehand to help with some anxiety. This is him mid-afternoon after his morning appointment, and the meds had not quite worn off yet.
Man I hate this administration. I just know that the next dem administration is going to have to redo it and the funding to do it will get denied because it's "a waste of taxpayer" money or some shit and it'll continue to deteriorate. I like that place and I'm mad about it.
Not to brag but I'm definitely on my way to breaking that world marathon record 💪. All kidding aside, this is the fastest two miles I have run as long as I've been recording myself running. I dunno what was in me today, but I like it.
This looks so much like the opera from the Fifth Element that I had to share. slippedisc.com/2026/01/firs...
Fox River, baybeeeee!! These were taken my senior year during the twenty seconds they let me sit stroke.
Seriously. Doesn't everyone remember the horrible 1970's/80's SF covers? They tried so hard to have sex appeal even if there was no sex anywhere near the actual novel.
Yeah, hanging in there! Scoop is 15 next month and she's been having neurological issues for a couple of years. She's still mostly a sweet old lady, though. Smudge is a perfect angel with no flaws outside of her misbehaving pancreas.
