This from the BBC website might be of interest to many (although BBC website doesn’t actually share to Bluesky off my app)… #bagpuss #ivortheengine
Trailers shouldn’t be skippable - makes the experience more like the cinema. 🍿 I still think that version of DareDevil was excellent despite it getting slagged off by nearly everyone. Much closer to the comic ideal than the series. But it’s a lonely hill to die on!
Fair play to the other political parties who are not playing #Farage’s game, and waiting for the Standards Commission outcome and recall petition…
Certainly not as old, but an interesting design (Herne Bay) as more rounded than others #postboxsaturday
#RIP #AnthonyHead. One of those truly great character actors who popped up in everything & didn’t get as much credit as he deserved. Personal favourites are Mr Finch in #DoctorWho & the v. funny Mr Gently Benevolent in superb #Radio4 #comedy & Dickens parody #BleakExpectations (well worth a listen)
Classic #films evening with my 19 year old daughter. Films a bit slower than she is used to, but she stayed the course and was gripped by the finale of each. #Signs #Untouchables
Beautiful morning around #Marshside @ #Highstead. Got a nice view of barn owls also.
Great joy - series 7 of the gentle but compelling Canal Boat Diaries now available on U! #canalboatdiaries
I’m a huge fan of the #spiderverse films, and this looks absolutely awesome. Just a couple of weeks away #spidernoir #spiderman #marvel
Radio Active’s mass debate on nuclear war is available on BBC sounds right now. Years since I last heard it, and still just as #funny (& perhaps even more relevant today than when broadcast in 1984). #radiocomedy
The coldest Christmas Day in North Kent for many years - which feels so much better than those strangely warm ones. Bracing day for a quiet country walk.
@eleanormorton.bsky.social & @misterabk.bsky.social - thank you for a truly great podcast series that I look forward to each & every month. I just stumbled across this on BBC Sounds which ties together Alice’s adventures, the hobbit & Narnia beautifully. Have a great Christmas.
Just rewatched #civilwar and if anything it is even more likely now than it was last year. A great - yet harrowing- film of a far to possible near future. Great performances from the key actors too.
I have spent the entirety of the decade slowly plodding through #Endeavour and then #InspectorMorse until his tragic demise today. Great #TV & now I am bereft for the remainder of the decade.
As is so often the way after a storm, today is just beautiful here in #Kent! A touch of cold in the air & gold in the trees heralding true autumn.
