Owing to an operation followed by complications I haven’t been able to get my #nature fix in for 5 long weeks. So delighted to get around my old #walk today - albeit it was too hot for most wildlife to be seen.

Trailers shouldn’t be skippable - makes the experience more like the cinema. 🍿 I still think that version of DareDevil was excellent despite it getting slagged off by nearly everyone. Much closer to the comic ideal than the series. But it’s a lonely hill to die on!

Without being churlish, all this really confirms is the #England management mistakes made in the semi-final. #Saka was clearly fit enough to play some part against Argentina, and our defence not strong enough to resist good teams (so why try to close shop for 45 minutes?). #football

Personal favourites are Mr Finch in #DoctorWho & the v. funny Mr Gently Benevolent in superb #Radio4 #comedy & Dickens parody #BleakExpectations (well worth a listen)

Just rewatched #civilwar and if anything it is even more likely now than it was last year. A great - yet harrowing- film of a far to possible near future. Great performances from the key actors too.
